Macquarie District was established in 1986 and currently consists of the following clubs:
Beecroft, Carlingford, Denistone, Greenlees Park, Hunters Hill, North Epping, North Ryde, Putney Tennyson & Rose Hill Gardens

On Monday 22nd April Regions 15 and 16 competed for the ANITA LINDEN Trophy.
We were blessed with magnificient weather and witnessed some excellent bowling from both regions
Congratulations to the ladies from Region 15 who defeated Region 16 by 263 to 189. Well done everyone.
Special thanks to Macquarie District for organising the event and to the Denistone Bowling Club for hosting players, officials and spectators.
We enjoyed a delicious morning tea and lunch provided by the many willing helpers from Denistone. Thank you ladies. Your hospitality was outstanding.
Sincere thanks to the Umpires Clare Jackson and Anne Richardson, Gladys Barnes and the Match Committee and those ladies who carried out the many official duties.
It was a most enjoyable day.

8th April 2024
Today thirty two bowlers from Macquarie and Mitchell Districts played in the Region 16 Challenge at Pennant Hills.
There were four games of Fours.
The spectators enjoyed some wonderful bowls with both Districts winning two rinks each.
The final score was Mitchell 79 victorious over Macquarie 72.
Congratulations to the winners and to all bowlers for providing such wonderful entertainment.

Commencing on Wednesday 3rd April 2024 and continuing each Wednesday until Wednesday 1May 2024 teams from Macquarie District will be compete against teams from Mitchell District in the Metro North West Challenge.
Teams consist of five players, two players playing pairs and three players playing triples.
Competing teams are from: Carlingford, Castle Hill, Denistone, Dural, Greenlees Park, Merrylands, North Epping, Northmead, Pennant Hills, The Hills, Toongabbie and Wenty Leagues.

MACQUARIE DISTRICT GALA DAY
6th October 2023.
Today over 120 ladies came together at North Ryde RSL to celebrate 37 years of bowling and friendship in the Macquarie District.
The day commenced with a scrumptious morning tea provided by the ladies from North Ryde RSL.
This was followed by two games of triples each of thirteen ends.
After bowls we moved to the function room to enjoy a delicious lunch. We were joined at lunch by several past members.
There was much laughter and sharing of memories.
Between courses we were treated to a photo presentation and provided with an informative booklet outlining the history of each club through the years.
Though the celebration was tinged with a certain sadness, those present delighted in the opportunity to catch up with friends and celebrate the many memories they have shared.
Such an event doesn’t just happen. Many weeks of planning went into making this day such a memorable occasion.
Sincere thanks is extended to the following ladies for their thoughtful preparation and attention to detail:
